Eminent Domain - Eminent domain abuse by RTD is one of my major concerns as a candidate for Board of Directors in District E. RTD has used the process to condemn land not just for rail expansion, but for developers to build near light rail stops. While legal, it is immoral to force a property owner to give up his land so the government can sell it to someone else for development.

Transparency - Every single dime spent by RTD should be in a searchable, online database for taxpayer review. It is YOUR money. You should be able to find out how much is spent on everything from paper clips to trains to morning donuts. For an example of what I mean, you can check out the CDOT site, although with modern technology, a searchable site could be even easier to use.

Accountability - RTD has over-promised and under-delivered for over a decade. This can not continue. All future promises must be realistic. If not, I promise to hold those making the unrealistic promises accountable and publicly known.
